Turn, turn, turn

The heat wave of the summer lasted three days, and you heard about it.

The next day was overcast with high temperatures in the 60s. I was so happy. I cooked, cleaned, baked, stuffed circuit board parts, edited, blogged, wore a sweater and socks, and took walks around the property.

And it looked and smelled like fall. Good lord, I love it here.

This windfall apple wasn’t quite ripe. Not sour, but still starchy. Maybe they’ll be good in another two weeks’ time.
