Eight years of Pudding

I’m not really posting on this blog right now, but it would be remiss not to make my annual Pudding post. There she is: my Chrissy Pud has been with us for eight years now.

It was her biggest year yet. We put her in a carrier and drove her 2200 miles across the country, including three nights in hotels (and having a cat in a hotel room was, unexpectedly, a ton of fun). She got fleas, if you can believe it. She is also getting old. This autumn she was sleeping constantly and losing weight. Turns out dry food is getting to be a bit much for her, so portions of softer things were introduced, and I’m pleased to say she is her old self again. Terrorizing the Christmas tree. Scattling up and down the stairs. Waving her tail in my face while I try to work.

I hope all of you had lovely holidays and are looking forward to the new year with optimism and cheer. We certainly are. 2015 was good to us! Here’s to an even better 2016!
