It’s almost to my boot tops in the back yard, so that’s about ten inches. It’s still coming down fast, and scheduled to keep going for several more hours. The weather is warm, though, a balmy 32F, so the snow is wet and perfect for packing into snowmen and snowballs. We came inside wet as if we’d been out in the rain, though.
I just adore the crabbed old hawthorn trees in our back yard. They bloom in the spring and have these beautiful red berries in the winter.
The wet, heavy snow will be breaking branches here, so fingers crossed that the power stays on.
