A mild summer evening, a small town, a huge fair. Free admission night. The midway was open. I played the Angry Birds game and “won” a small stuffed alligator for Mimi. We ate a funnel cake. We looked at the animals and watched the AC airplane show. We ran into many people we know. We decided Mimi is too little for rides, even the tame ones. Our little girl, ever alert, ever watching, didn’t even think to ask for a ride on the merry-go-round. There was simply too much to see.
