Our fridge is kaput. It got dusty, overheated, and died. Sparks, who is a competent repairman, spent a few hours working on it then declared it dead. So we got to buy a new fridge.
My midsummer resolution is to learn how to vacuum the coils of the new one.
I’m pleasantly intrigued by the possibilities of a freezer-on-bottom, french-door style fridge though. I’ve never had one like that. It will be delivered on Tuesday. Meanwhile, we have bags of ice on the top shelf of the old fridge, turning it into an old-fashioned icebox.
