What a glorious autumn. Cold nights and mild days, sunshine, fall color, and my little girl to show it all to.
After visiting the pumpkins, goats, and Munchkin Land we bought some very expensive jam and cheese and apples and went home, where we made an apple crisp. I used half Granny Smith and half Golden Delicious apples, which is the mixture my mother recommends. I made a near-perfect apple pie two weeks ago, and I think this crisp ain’t half bad either. It was half eaten before I remembered to take a picture of it after baking.
