I’m breaking from tradition this year and not making The Best Christmas Cookies In The World. I thought that cutout, iced cookies would be more toddler-friendly and a fun change of pace. To tell the truth, I’m already missing the traditional ones, but oh well.
Gingerbread men turned into gingerbread frogs, because that’s what Mimi likes best right now. I think they’re pretty cute.

And also chocolate cutout cookies, the dark chocolate ones from this year’s Martha Stewart Living December issue. And oh my, they’re very dark chocolatey. Kept their shape well during baking too.
Mimi thinks the icing is pretty rad.
