Hey, I got my first award! Christy, whose best friend calls her Martha in case you didn’t know, has decided that I am nice. It’s good to be nice. Once on a bulletin board, the board ranter-and-raver told me to “keep on being your nice-ass self.” Funny how things get turned around on the internet… people who meet me in real life are always scared of me. Hmmmm. Anyway, thanks Christie, and I am passing this on, not to the world’s most diplomatic vegan, but the world’s most diplomatic vaguetarian, teeni. You see, it’s a pun. I didn’t realize it was a pun. She isn’t committed to veganism, she just likes to think about it, and that’s why she’s so diplomatic. She isn’t hungry. (eeeeeeeek! Don’t hit me!)
To Brigitta, no I am not making progress on the jumper! You should support and encourage me to not make a whole cabled (that takes more yarn!) sweater out of the Artyarns Ultramerino. Even if it would be soft, and cabley, and warm, and the color of raspberry syrup on top of neapolitan ice cream. I have things to knit and places to go! I don’t need more distraction, I need less!
To Laura, ohhh, those were not covered books in my secretary desk’s drawer. Those were boxes of stationery. With envelopes lined in those wonderful, wonderful Florentine papers. Ohhhh how I love Florentine paper.
And to Fiona, I need your mailing address, dear. I’m not ready to mail yet, but I may be… at any moment. Be prepared.
Why, thank you so much….I think of myself as nice and try to be as often as humanly possible!
P.S. I tried your recipe for the cranberry-white chocolate chip muffins and they turned out great. My husband loves the taste and texture of them and so do I.
I wanted to take a picture but when I turned on my digital, I had a dead battery…rats!
